Vacancy

The vacancy caused by resignation of Mr. J. B. Ega da Silva, 2nd Assistant in the Observatory, I have, on the recommendation of Dr Doberck, made the following appointments :-

Mr M. Ho-To-shang, Clerk, to be 2nd Assistant (with salary of $70 per mensem) provisionally and subject to Your Lordship's approval,

Mr. Lam-Tsun-kwai, Additional Clerk, to be Clerk on a salary of $50 a month, and Mr. Elias J. F. Gomes to be 2nd Clerk on a salary of $40 a month.
